On the morning of April 18, Dak Lak Museum held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition “Colors of Dak Lak culture”. This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

In his opening speech, Director of Dak Lak Museum Dinh Mot said: Coming to the exhibition "Colors of Dak Lak culture" is not only to admire the works of art, but also an opportunity for us to explore and honor the profound cultural values of Dak Lak. This is a land not only associated with long-standing cultural traditions but also a place that nurtures strong aspirations to rise up, creating a strong mark in the general picture of literature and art of the whole country.

Over the past 50 years, Dak Lak’s literature and arts have been constantly developing, affirming its position in the national cultural treasure. From literary works, music , poetry to folk art products or spiritual cultural activities, all tell a vivid story about a dynamic, creative and vibrant Dak Lak.

This is an opportunity for us to proudly look back on the development of the province’s literature and arts over the past half century. Each work, each artifact is a product of creativity, a testament to the resilient spirit of the people of Dak Lak, overcoming difficulties.
The exhibition includes two themes: “Dak Lak Literature and Arts - 50 Years of a Journey” and “Ethnic Culture of Dak Lak Province”. Each theme is a journey of discovery, reflecting the continuous development of Dak Lak’s cultural and artistic heritage, while introducing the diversity of the cultures of the 49 ethnic groups living on this basalt land.

During the one month period (until May 18), the exhibition space with more than 150 unique documents and artifacts with works, traditional costumes, ethnic musical instruments, or simple household items all contain a separate story, carrying a profound message about the spirit of solidarity, creativity and self-reliance of the people of the ethnic groups in Dak Lak province.

Coming to the exhibition, people and visitors not only admire the beauty and value of the works, but also protect and preserve these cultural values, so that they not only live forever, but continue to inspire future generations.
