Tuyen Quang Customs strengthens propaganda and dissemination of laws

Identifying the propaganda and dissemination of laws as an important task, Tuyen Quang Customs has had many effective ways to do so. The unit has publicly posted documents on import and export policies, instructions on customs procedures and processes currently in effect at customs clearance locations, at the one-stop shop; collected information from suggestion boxes, hotlines and from public reception activities... Thereby helping businesses, people coming to declare customs, and taxpayers directly learn and research during the customs clearance process.

Comrade Khong Manh Cuong, Head of Tuyen Quang Customs Branch, said that the unit has carried out propaganda and dissemination of laws in many forms such as: Propaganda through meetings, training and regular activities at the unit; direct consultation, answering questions at the headquarters of the Customs agency/enterprises; maintaining problem-solving teams at the Branch to receive feedback from the people; propagating news and articles about customs activities on Tuyen Quang Newspaper; propagating through the Zalo group of customs - enterprises, through customs - enterprises dialogue conferences; posting documents guiding, supporting, providing information, instructions, answering questions, introducing customs policies and laws related to customs declarants and taxpayers on the industry's website.

Mr. Pham Xuan Huong, Director of Tuyen Quang Mechanical Joint Stock Company, said that every year, the unit is promptly disseminated by the Customs Department's officers on documents on import-export policies and customs procedures that are in effect; new documents and policies are always quickly sent to businesses by officers via gmail, zalo or posted on the website to help businesses easily access information. From there, the unit's import-export activities are more convenient.

In the coming time, Tuyen Quang Customs will continue to effectively implement the law on dissemination of legal education; innovate and diversify the forms of propaganda with increasing focus, building by topic, group of documents, synchronously, uniformly and effectively. The unit will strengthen coordination between the customs agency and the provincial agencies, departments and branches in propaganda work, providing information to customs declarants and taxpayers; promote receiving and answering questions from the business community about contents related to customs activities via digital platforms.
