The Cao Bang Customs Department's grassroots trade union will strive to maintain and promote tree planting activities to achieve more and more good results, aiming to successfully implement the Program "For a green Vietnam".
Regarding professional and technical work, in January 2024, Cao Bang Customs Department processed import and export goods with a total turnover of more than 70 million USD, an increase of 261% over the same period last year.
Of which, exports reached 58.96 million USD, up 530%; imports reached 11.09 million USD, up 11%. Import and export goods are mainly agricultural products, machinery and equipment, automobiles, lead ingots, coal of all kinds, etc.
Regarding budget revenue, the entire Department collected 61.04 billion VND, down 17% compared to the same period last year, but reaching 105% of the plan set by the unit in January 2024. It is known that the reason why turnover increased but tax revenue decreased is because turnover increased mainly in exported agricultural products (no tax was incurred), while imported goods with large revenue such as: textiles, coal of all kinds, cars, machinery and equipment... all decreased.
