Following the success of three consecutive festivals (2022, 2023, 2024), the Traditional Wrestling Competition of the Mac Dynasty will be held for the fourth time on the occasion of Spring At Ty 2025.
This event aims to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and aims to complete the dossier to propose the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to recognize it as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
According to Dr. Hoang Van Ke - Head of the Organizing Committee, the tournament is like an inheritance, continuing the unique folk festival that was initiated and taught by Thai To Nhan Minh Cao Hoang De Mac Dang Dung 5 centuries ago.
Thereby, contributing to arousing the martial spirit and strong will of our ancestors, educating the tradition of patriotism and training the health of the young generation.

This is also an opportunity to honor the historical and cultural values of the Mac Dynasty, connect the community and promote local tourism development.
The 4th contest will take place from February 8-10, 2025 (January 11-13, At Ty year) at the Temple of the Mac Dynasty Kings, Kien Hung commune, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong.
The competition is part of the National Wrestling Federation's tournament system, attracting famous wrestlers from across the country.
Participants are athletes from provinces, cities and industries, each unit sends one athlete for each weight class.
The competition consists of two parts, men's wrestling with 8 weight classes and women's wrestling with 2 weight classes. The competition rules are applied according to the regulations of the Vietnam Wrestling Federation.
The award includes 1 Gold Medal worth 5,000,000 VND, 1 Silver Medal worth 3,000,000 VND and 2 Bronze Medals worth 2,000,000 VND.
