“Legal Mirror” is an activity to commend and honor outstanding individuals in the construction and enforcement of laws, thereby spreading good images, heroic examples, and sacrifices of citizens, cadres, and civil servants in the cause of building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam.
The selection and honoring of outstanding individuals in the development and enforcement of laws also aims to diversify the forms of legal propaganda, dissemination and education; and improve the effectiveness of legal propaganda. This is one of the meaningful activities in the series of events responding to Vietnam Law Day on November 9.
Born not as fortunate as many others due to the effects of Agent Orange dioxin, but young man Le Thai Binh (35 years old, Trung Thuong village, Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district) has overcome adversity, becoming a living proof of the example of "disabled but not useless". Not only is he determined to rise up in life, he also spreads love and helps many people through volunteer activities. He boldly opened the 15 m2 "Thai Binh Reading Space" at home, creating a book library for people and children in the commune to read and borrow books. He is also the initiator of many volunteer groups such as "Ky Anh Volunteer Team", "Heart-oriented Charity Group" to call for and connect resources to help people in difficult circumstances, lighting the fire of volunteering in poor rural areas. |
