The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 273/KH-UBND dated September 17, 2024 on organizing a Conference to commend advanced models, good people, good deeds; honoring "Outstanding Capital Citizens" in 2024.

This is an activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024); summarize and evaluate the results of the emulation movement "Good people, good deeds" in all fields of the city in 2024; set out tasks and measures to continue promoting the movement "Good people, good deeds" in 2025 and the following years; commend and honor typical "Good people, good deeds" individuals, individuals awarded the title "Outstanding Capital Citizen" in 2024.

The organization's name is the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city.
The program consists of two parts. Part I: Photo exhibition of patriotic emulation movements; Part II: Conference program.
The number of invited delegates is expected to be about 300. The number of good people and good deeds is about 750, including: “Outstanding Capital Citizens” and typical advanced examples, good people and good deeds in 2024 (including typical examples awarded the title “Good People, Good Deeds” by the city, and having the book “Beautiful Flowers” of Hanoi in 2024 written); “Outstanding Capital Citizens” from 2010 to 2023.
The conference is scheduled to be held on the morning of October 7 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace.
