Hanoi will organize many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution.

In order to create unity in leadership, direction and organization of the celebration of major holidays and important political events in 2025, and to maximize the significance and widespread impact of the celebration activities, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requests Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels and sectors of the city to focus on leading and directing the good implementation of the following contents:

Widely promote the value, position, stature, and great historical significance of important holidays, anniversaries, and political events of the country and the Capital taking place in 2025, including the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

Focus on promoting the education of history, the thousand-year-old culture and heroic tradition of Thang Long - Hanoi, the glorious revolutionary struggle tradition of the Party Committee, army and people of Hanoi. Organize propaganda and commemorative activities in accordance with the direction of the Central and City in a diverse, practical, economical, effective, focused and key form, suitable to the conditions of the locality and unit.

Continuously foster patriotism, national pride and self-respect among cadres, party members, armed forces and people of all walks of life, creating a strong driving force to contribute to the cause of building, protecting and developing the capital. Strengthen the fight against and refute false and hostile information and viewpoints, distorting history, denying the value and significance of the August Revolution, the leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh; protecting the Party's ideological foundation, protecting the socialist regime and national interests.

Focus on innovating the content and form of propaganda, strengthening information work, visual agitation, propaganda on the city's media and communications, cyberspace, contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the capital's social life, creating a positive political atmosphere in the entire Party Committee.

Organize activities to visit museums, historical and revolutionary relics; meet, exchange and discuss with historical witnesses; exhibitions on achievements in protecting, building and developing the Capital; competitions to learn about traditions; compile and publish books, photos, propaganda documents...; strongly promote each event on the media of the City, agencies, units and localities.

Launch and promote patriotic emulation movements in agencies, units, and localities in all fields of work, practically achieving achievements to celebrate important holidays, anniversaries, and political events of the Capital and the country in 2025.

Especially the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the 18th City Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress; determined to successfully carry out political tasks, socio-economic development targets, ensure national defense and security according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025; build the capital Hanoi "Cultured - Civilized - Modern".

The Party Committee of the City People's Committee, based on the directives and instructions of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee, directed the City People's Committee to organize and well implement the commemorative activities and important political events in 2025.

District, town, and city Party Committees and Party Committees directly under the City Party Committee direct the development of plans and implementation of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, Vietnam's National Day, holidays, anniversaries, and important political events of the capital and the country in 2025 in accordance with the conditions and actual situation of the locality and unit.
