Like many other villages in the district, after being informed by the Women's Union of the district and commune about how to classify and compost organic waste into fertilizer using the home compost bin model, creating a clean source of fertilizer for crops, many households have actively implemented it and achieved results.

Ms. Doan Thi Thao - Van Hung Village, Cat Thinh Commune shared: “After being informed by the district and commune women's cadres about how to handle household waste right at home, we have actively implemented it. Since implementing waste classification at source, the amount of waste released into the environment has been greatly reduced, and there is no more littering in the village. In particular, composting organic waste into fertilizer using the compost bin model has created a very effective source of fertilizer for plants. We hope that the district women's cadres will actively disseminate this to many households in the district so that people can understand and follow it, contributing to environmental protection and building new rural areas.”
