The entire force successfully completed the mission of supporting the people of Yen Bai to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. The comrades returned to their units in the emotional farewell of the people of Yen Bai City.

Although the weather was rainy, from early morning, from the elderly to children were present very early on the streets to meet Uncle Ho's soldiers, sending their deepest and most sincere thanks to the military force.

In their hands, they waved red flags with yellow stars to greet the convoy and shouted “thank you soldiers”, “wish you soldiers good health”… Those were sincere feelings, coming from the heart, that the people of Yen Bai wanted to give to the soldiers - one of the forces that worked day and night to support the people during the recent historic flood.

Faced with the very heavy damage caused by storm No. 3 in Yen Bai province in general and Yen Bai city in particular, the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Yen Bai city have received special attention, timely leadership and direction from the Party Committee, the Command of Military Region 2, the Party Committee, the Military Command of Yen Bai province, and the dedicated and responsible support of units in the Military Region's Armed Forces, such as: Regiment 174, Regiment 148 of Division 316; Division 355; Brigade 604; Brigade 297; Brigade 168; Regiment 121 of the Provincial Military Command; Militia forces of Van Chan district, Nghia Lo town... Units mobilized over 1,200 officers, soldiers, hundreds of vehicles, cars, motorbikes, ships, boats... directly to the area, closely coordinating with local Party committees, authorities, departments, organizations, agencies, units and businesses, joining hands to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 in Yen Bai city.

Previously, Yen Bai City leaders also held a meeting to present Certificates of Merit, express gratitude and express deep gratitude to the armed forces of Military Region 2 for helping the province overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

During the days when Yen Bai city was submerged in rain and flood, the forces were present in time, organized evacuations, moved people from dangerous areas, and participated in searching for missing people and unfortunate victims. Many officers and soldiers stayed up all night, continuously wading in water, flood, and mud to search, rescue people, and bring relief goods to the people. With their affection and responsibility, officers and soldiers of units in the Military Region's Armed Forces, regardless of day or night, rain or shine, actively participated in cleaning up mud, collecting garbage, helping agencies, schools, hospitals, residential groups, villages, neighborhoods, policy households, lonely elderly people, and disadvantaged people in the area. They are just ordinary people, simple green sleeves, but they are a solid support, embracing our compatriots in times of danger.
