In his congratulatory speech, comrade Nguyen Quang Truong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc emphasized that this is not only an event to recognize the dedication, efforts and affection of comrades towards the Party and State, but also an opportunity to honor those who have persistently chosen the revolutionary path, always standing firm in the face of all challenges.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association awarded a certificate of merit to Party member Phan Toan Thang - Office Party Cell of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, achieving the standard of "Excellent completion of tasks" for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023).

At the same time, the Standing Committee also awarded the "For the cause of Party building of the Central Agencies" medal to comrade Tran Thi Huong Giang - Member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association, for her many contributions to the cause of building and developing the Party Committee of the Central Agencies."

After the badge awarding ceremony, the Party Committee of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association continued to organize the Conference to summarize the Party's work in 2024 and deploy key tasks in 2025.

Reporting at the Conference, Comrade Phan Toan Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief of Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that the Party Committee of the Agency has 92 party members operating in 7 Party cells. In 2024, with high determination, the Party Committee of the Agency has led the Party cells, units, and mass organizations in the Agency to proactively do a good job of ideological work, ensuring good implementation of professional work; making an important contribution to enhancing the role, efficiency, and quality of activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The Party Committee has promoted its leadership role and successfully directed the Association's major events such as the National Press Festival, the National Press Forum and the National Press Awards Ceremony. At the same time, the Association's foreign affairs work has also achieved remarkable results, and was awarded the emulation flag by the Central External Relations Commission for "Leading Collective in the Field of External Information and Propaganda in 2024".

Implementing the Party's policy on strengthening grassroots work, the Party Committee of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association has actively directed working delegations to the grassroots. Through working trips to Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Can Tho, the Party Committee has closely grasped the operation situation of the Association in the localities, and at the same time provided support in terms of personnel, mechanisms and funding, contributing to consolidating and improving the quality of the Association's activities.

Regarding the key tasks in 2025, comrade Phan Toan Thang emphasized: "In 2025, the Party Committee of the Agency will focus on strengthening solidarity and unity throughout the agency, effectively implementing the motto "Solidarity - Discipline - Innovation - Creativity - Development" of the 11th Congress. Timely grasp the thoughts and aspirations of cadres and party members to solve problems arising in the process of organizational innovation, contributing to building a strong agency".

The opinions at the Conference were in high agreement with the report. Representatives of the Party cells said that the Party cells of the Vietnam Journalists Association are mostly merged Party cells, so they often face certain challenges in organizing Party activities due to the nature of their work.

However, with constant efforts and a high spirit of solidarity, the units have proactively overcome difficulties, organized regular and effective Party cell meetings. The close guidance of the Party Committee, the encouragement of former leaders, and the active contributions of all cadres and Party members have created an enthusiastic working atmosphere, aiming to successfully complete the tasks in 2025 - a meaningful year for the country to rise up, and marking the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Receiving and recording the opinions of party members representing the Party cells, on behalf of the Party Committee of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Comrade Nguyen Duc Loi - Party Committee Secretary, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized that 2025 is a year of special importance for the entire political system, with many important events of the country taking place. The Vietnam Journalists Association has issued detailed plans for units, local Association levels, inter-associations and sub-associations on the tasks to be implemented in 2025.

Emphasizing Resolution 18 on streamlining the apparatus to improve the efficiency of the political system, comrade Nguyen Duc Loi said: The Vietnam Journalists Association is not standing aside. "The Association has developed a detailed work plan to ensure that the implementation of Resolution 18 on streamlining the apparatus is carried out synchronously and uniformly, ensuring the rights of cadres, workers and employees, and leaving no one behind in the implementation process," he emphasized.

The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association affirmed that building and maintaining solidarity and unity within the Party is a key task. He also emphasized that stabilizing ideology and unifying awareness are the foundation for the Party to develop sustainably. Each cadre and Party member needs to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, contributing to building a clean and strong Party.

At the Conference, the Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 02 Party cells "Excellently completing tasks" which are the Office Party cell and the Press Museum and Electronic Information Portal Party cell and 15 Party members "Excellently completing tasks".
