Football exchange to celebrate the founding day of the People's Army

BTO-On December 24, in Phan Thiet City, football matches took place to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2023) and the 34th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2023).

Participating in the exchange were 4 teams: Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station, Logistics Department (Provincial Military Command), Heineken Beer Company and the joint team of Binh Thuan Newspaper - Department of Information and Communications - Resident reporters in Binh Thuan.

The organizers presented souvenir flags to representatives of participating teams.

The 4 teams played exciting matches with the enthusiastic cheers of officials, civil servants, employees and workers. As a result, after 2 matches, the Heineken Beer Company team won the championship cup after a dramatic victory over the Logistics Department team. In the third place match, the joint team of Binh Thuan Newspaper - Department of Information and Communications - Resident Reporters in Binh Thuan won against the Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station team.

Football exchanges between units are activities that have been regularly implemented in recent years. This activity aims to continue to consolidate and build solidarity and cohesion between units, between officers and employees of the Logistics Department and reporters, civil servants, public employees, and workers of press agencies. At the same time, it creates a joyful and healthy atmosphere, contributing to promoting the emulation movement of physical training and sports practice to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the National Defense Day.
