Based on the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the price of E5 gasoline remains unchanged at 19,860 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 30 VND/liter, the selling price is 20,590 VND/liter.
Meanwhile, diesel price was adjusted down by 130 VND/liter, selling price is 18,250 VND/liter.

Gasoline price list at operating period 12/12/2024
In today's operating session, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not allocate or spend from the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.
In the management session last week (December 5), the prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted up and down in opposite directions by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline was adjusted up by VND20/liter, selling price is VND19,860/liter. Meanwhile, the price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND290/liter, selling price down to VND20,560/liter.
Similarly, the price of diesel was adjusted down by VND390/liter, selling price is VND18,380/liter. The price of kerosene decreased by VND330, to VND18,810/liter.
Regarding gasoline, recently, a group of gasoline distribution and retail businesses sent a petition to the Minister of Industry and Trade regarding the 4th draft of the Decree on gasoline trading.
In this document, the community of petroleum distributors and retailers is concerned about the draft Decree proposing to empower enterprises to set their own petroleum prices. The State only announces the world petroleum production price, source creation cost, standard business cost, and standard profit.
Gasoline distribution and retail businesses believe that this regulation has not changed much compared to before when the regulations on source creation costs, standard business costs, standard profits... were still determined by the State.
Enterprises propose to innovate the assignment of pricing authority, price agreement and price competition according to the provisions of the Law on Prices in the direction that: gasoline prices are not priced by the State but are price-stabilized goods, and price regulation is up to enterprises to decide on prices.
