Gold prices continue to fall, to the lowest level in the past 4 days

This development originated from the international market. At 4:00 p.m., the world gold price fell below the 3,100 USD/ounce mark, trading at 3,087.6 USD/ounce compared to 3,110 USD/ounce at 9:00 a.m. the same day.

In the domestic market, businesses listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND98.8 million/tael (buy) - VND101.3 million/tael (sell), down VND400,000/tael (buy) and VND600,000/tael (sell) compared to the same morning.

The price of gold rings also continued to decrease. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited offered plain round gold rings at VND99 million/tael (buy) - VND101.6 million/tael (sell), down VND400,000/tael each afternoon compared to the morning.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company reduced 600,000 VND/tael each way, to 98.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 101.3 million VND/tael (sell).

Similarly, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price at VND98.8 million/tael (buy) - VND101.33 million/tael (sell), lower than the same morning by VND600,000/tael (buy) and VND500,000/tael (sell). The current price is the lowest since March 31.

This morning, the price of gold decreased by 100,000-300,000 VND/tael. Thus, compared to the end of the previous day, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 700,000 VND/tael (buying price) and 900,000 VND/tael (selling price); the price of gold rings decreased by 700,000-800,000 VND/tael (buying price) and 500,000-900,000 VND/tael (selling price).

The buying and selling price range of SJC gold bars is 2.5 million VND/tael; gold rings are at 2.5-2.6 million VND/tael.
