Meeting with specialized Youth Union officials in the province

On March 27, Son La Provincial Youth Union held a meeting with specialized Youth Union officials in the province to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025). Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Youth Union briefly informed about the results of the implementation of the Youth Union and youth and children's movements in 2024, and the key tasks in 2025. Last year, the Youth Union organizations in the province aroused and promoted the youth's strength and creativity in implementing movements and volunteer activities, increasing the mobilization of resources to support union members, youth and children and disadvantaged areas, with a total value of over 27 billion VND. The work of building the Youth Union organization and participating in Party building was focused on, and the Youth Union bases introduced 3,698 outstanding members to attend classes to improve awareness of the Party. Of which, 2,181 outstanding members were admitted to the Party.

Praising and recognizing the outstanding achievements of the Youth Union and young people in the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, all levels of the Youth Union should strengthen the education of revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for the young generation; focus on implementing projects and tasks, paying attention to digital transformation, innovation, and actively participating in the goals of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the locality; contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 and the Resolution of the 13th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2022 - 2027.
