Son La Medical College celebrates traditional Bunpimay New Year

Welcome to the traditional New Year Bunpimay, Lao PDR in 2025.

Currently, Son La Medical College has 217 Lao students studying midwifery, pharmacy and nursing. At the program, delegates, teachers and Lao students reviewed the traditional Bunpimay New Year and the special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general, and Son La province with the northern provinces of Laos in particular.

At the same time, traditional rituals to celebrate Bunpimay Festival were performed, such as: blessing, tying wrist strings, performing arts, with songs praising the solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

On this occasion, leaders of departments, branches and sectors; Liaison Committee of Vietnamese Volunteers and Military Experts in Laos in Son La province presented gifts to Lao students; awarded Sports Prizes to celebrate the traditional Bunpimay New Year of the Lao PDR in 2025.
