Nearly 400 Cam Giang women 'brave the rain' to compete in folk dance sports

Nearly 400 female cadres and members braved the rain to participate in the folk dance sports competition.

On the morning of March 2, the Women's Union of Cam Giang district organized the 4th Sports and Folk Dance Competition with the theme "March Dance - Convergence and Shine". This is an activity to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025).

Impressive performance by women of Tan Truong commune

Nearly 400 cadres and women's union members from 15 communes and towns in the district participated in the performance. In addition to the optional competition of the localities, all cadres and women's union members participated in the performance with the medley "The Country is Full of Joy" and "Singing about Vietnamese Women".

Although it was a little rainy, the performances by the women's union members and staff attracted a large audience.

The organizing committee awarded 7 first prizes and 8 second prizes to communes and towns participating in the folk dance competition.

At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee awarded 7 first prizes to the communes: Cam Van, Tan Truong, Phuc Dien, Duc Chinh, Dinh Son, Ngoc Lien and Cam Giang town. The remaining communes and towns won second prizes.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Cam Giang district also launched communes and towns to organize physical training, sports and cultural exchange activities to celebrate International Women's Day at the grassroots level.
