Nearly 200,000 people participate in the Campaign "Million steps of kindness

The campaign "Millions of steps of kindness - Continuing the golden history" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in the form of walking/running to record results on the online platform vRace was launched from November 23, 2024 to April 28, 2025 along with the call for the community to join the movement "Good people, good deeds - Joining hands to build a compassionate community" launched by the Society.

To date, the Campaign has attracted the participation of over 184,000 participants, conquered over 5.6 million km and mobilized 5 billion VND to carry out humanitarian activities, helping people in difficult circumstances nationwide.

The campaign is a special call for "million steps" towards history, respecting and being grateful for the sacrifices in the resistance war to protect the country in order to have journeys of hope in the present and the future.

Each step in responding to and participating in the Campaign is a step to rekindle the glorious history of the nation, and at the same time, connect the community's humanitarian support to those in difficult circumstances across the country, especially historical sites associated with the 1975 Spring General Offensive such as Quang Tri, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City...

Accordingly, individuals, groups and organizations participating in the Campaign "Millions of Kind Steps - Continuing the Golden History" have retold the heroic historical story of the nation and continued to write new hopes, spreading the spirit of positive, brave and peace-loving Vietnam by posting their own images and thoughts during the journey of participating in the Campaign.

For every 1km that an athlete participates in, the units and businesses that accompany the Campaign will donate 1,000 VND to the Campaign's humanitarian goals.

During the Breakthrough period (February 3 - March 9, 2025), the Campaign "Millions of Kind Footsteps - Continuing the Golden History" was accompanied by the Vietnam Soy Milk Education Promotion Fund with 4.5 million km, equivalent to 4.5 billion VND; Care For Vietnam with 320,000 km, equivalent to 320 million VND; He Chun Logistics Company Limited with 800,000 km, equivalent to 800 million VND.

The Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee said that all funds donated by the units will be used to organize activities to support nutrition for poor and disabled children at schools and in difficult areas, build boarding kitchens, provide sustainable livelihoods and other humanitarian assistance activities.
