Nearly 1,000 new points passed the medical school entrance exam

This afternoon (June 26), the Admissions Council of the Faculty of Medicine (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores for early admission methods. Of which, the admission score for the medical major using the combination of the competency assessment exam score and high school academic results is up to nearly 1,000 points.

Specifically, the major with the highest admission score in the priority admission method according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University is dentistry at 85.5 points. Next is medicine with 87 points. This admission score is the total score of 3 subjects: math, chemistry, biology in 3 years of high school.

With the 2023 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National University Entrance Exam scoring method, the medical industry has the highest benchmark score at 934 points. Next is the dental industry with 902 points.

In 2022, the Faculty of Medicine (Ho Chi Minh City National University) will use the admission method's benchmark score based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National University Entrance Exam scores for all majors from 657-950 points. Of which, the highest score is medicine (high quality) with 950 points, the lowest is nursing with 657 points. Thus, the benchmark score for the medical major this year has increased compared to the previous year.
