FPT increases minimum bandwidth to 300Mbps

(NLDO)- FPT upgraded the minimum bandwidth from 150Mbps to 300Mbps to serve users' needs for studying, working, entertaining, and online business.

According to FPT Telecom representative, from April 2025, in order to improve internet service experience, FPT will upgrade bandwidth with a minimum speed of up to 300Mbps for customers using FPT Internet service.

Currently, FPT has applied Wi-Fi 6 technology to serve high-speed internet experience, wide coverage and stable connection.

Accordingly, FPT's existing customers will also be upgraded from a minimum bandwidth of 150Mbps to 300Mbps. FPT's bandwidth upgrade aims to optimize all activities on digital platforms from studying, working, online entertainment to online business of users.

Since 2018, this is the 5th time FPT has upgraded bandwidth for customers. In 2022, FPT will upgrade its unlimited bandwidth internet service to 1Gbps - the highest actual speed on the market - depending on the customer's terminal device. Currently, FPT has applied Wi-Fi 6 technology to allow high-speed internet experience, wide coverage and stable connection.

According to the Speedtest Report conducted by Ookla, Vietnam ranks 35th in the world in terms of fixed-bandwidth internet speed. According to data recorded in February 2025, the download speed was 164.77 Mbps and the upload speed was 144.98 Mbps).
