With the drastic participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, in 2023, Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh) will have 5 more villages meeting the standards of a model new rural residential area.

Model new rural residential areas that meet standards have full cultural institutions, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

Based on Document No. 447/VPĐP-KHNVGS dated December 11, 2023 of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office on announcing the results of monitoring and inspection of the Model New Rural Residential Area in Duc Tho district, the People's Committee of Duc Tho district has just issued Decision No. 52249/QD-UBND dated December 18, 2023 recognizing 5 model New Rural Residential Areas in 2023.

Accordingly, in 2023, Duc Tho district will have 5 villages meeting the standards of model new-style rural residential areas, including: Dai An, Ha Tien (An Dung commune), Dong Tam, Phuc Hoa (Duc Dong commune), Thuong Tien (Hoa Lac commune).

Model new rural residential area is equipped with a sign system to ensure traffic safety.

Thanks to the promotion of propaganda and mobilization work, along with support policies, especially the active participation of the people, the movement to build model new-style rural residential areas and model gardens in Duc Tho in recent times has created a widespread influence in the district.

Up to now, the whole district has 119/142 villages meeting the model NTM standards, accounting for nearly 83.8% of the total number of villages; there are 96 standard gardens; up to now, there are 1196/1823 standard gardens.

Implementing criterion 20 - Model gardens, model new-style rural residential areas, in 2023, Duc Tho district mobilized 342,083 billion VND, mobilizing people to donate more than 21,000 ^m2 of land to build roads; renovate 12.2 km of village and alley roads, 2.37 km of intra-village roads, more than 3 km of hard canals; asphalt 5.51 km of commune and commune roads; renovate 1,054 household gardens, renovate 206 mixed gardens, renovate 213 households' auxiliary works, upgrade 245 livestock facilities; renovate and upgrade 15.6 km of residential lighting lines; plant over 33 km of green fences, 2,170 shade trees, build smart residential areas, intelligent houses...
