A representative of ASIA DMC Company (the company that welcomed the Iranian delegation) said that during their stay in Vietnam from now until April 5, the Iranian delegation will explore unique tourist destinations on the North-Central-South route such as: One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ha Long (Quang Ninh), Da Nang...
It is expected that in the coming time, the company will continue to welcome nearly 1,000 more Iranian tourists to Vietnam to travel, explore and experience the natural landscape and cultural beauty.
According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, this is the first time a VIP charter airline from Iran has operated a direct flight to Hanoi. This opens up prospects for extensive cooperation in the tourism industry between the two countries. Expanding the international tourist market, especially from the Middle East, not only contributes to diversifying tourist sources but also creates conditions for Vietnam to develop high-end tourism, improve service quality and increase Vietnam's attractiveness on the world tourism map.
Vietnam has made strong strides on the international tourism map, when it was ranked in the top 20 most favorite countries with a score of 89/100. "Welcoming a group of Iranian charter guests choosing Vietnam as a destination shows the growing appeal of Vietnamese tourism on the international map, especially for the Middle Eastern group - a potential market but not yet fully exploited.
This activity contributes to diversifying tourist sources, enhancing aviation connectivity and upgrading high-end tourism services, making Hanoi in particular and Vietnam a leading international tourist center in the region," a representative of the Hanoi Department of Tourism affirmed.
Information from the Hanoi Department of Tourism shows that in the first quarter of 2025, Hanoi tourism welcomed 7.3 million visitors, an increase of 8.7% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international tourists reached 1.85 million, an increase of 17.4% over the same period in 2024.
