The draw has placed Belgium in a relatively easy group at EURO 2024. Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine are not worthy opponents for Belgium. If they play at their best, the top spot in the group will be difficult to escape from the hands of Domenico Tedesco's team.
Belgium have had a perfect run-up to EURO 2024. They defeated Montenegro and Luxembourg in friendlies. Their most recent defeat came in the 2022 World Cup group stage when they unexpectedly lost to Morocco.
Since then, Belgium have gone 14 games unbeaten, including 10 wins, and will be confident of a successful tournament in Germany.
Meanwhile, Slovakia also had impressive warm-ups before EURO 2024 when defeating San Marino and Wales. However, these are all teams that are not highly rated and have not been able to prove Slovakia's ability.
