According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, cold air has currently affected the Central Central region.

It is forecasted that on March 7, cold air will continue to affect some places in the South Central region. Northeast wind inland level 2-3, coastal areas level 3-4, some places gust level 6.

The North and North Central regions are cold, with some places experiencing severe cold; the mountainous regions of the Northeast are particularly cold, with severe cold in the high mountains. The area from Quang Binh to Hue is cold.

The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally 12-15 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas below 8 degrees Celsius; North Central region is generally 13-16 degrees Celsius; Quang Binh to Hue is generally 16-19 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area has rain in some places, cold weather. Low temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 13-15 degrees.

According to the meteorological agency, due to the influence of cold air, the Central Central region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Severe cold in the mountainous areas of the Northeast is likely to last until around March 8.
