Fire at clothing kiosks at night in Hanoi

Fire and smoke suddenly broke out at clothing kiosks on Mau Luong Street (Kien Hung Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi), causing panic among local residents.

Speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Dang Tran Duc - Chairman of Kien Hung Ward People's Committee said: The fire broke out at around 9:10 p.m. on March 8.

Immediately after receiving information about the fire, the fire department arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Shortly after, the fire was completely controlled. The fire did not cause any human casualties and the property damage is being assessed.

According to the Chairman of Kien Hung Ward People's Committee, the initial cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
