At the conference, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia briefly informed delegates about the initial results in reorganizing the apparatus of the political system and the issues arising for propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new situation.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized the consistent guiding principle of our Party in the orientation of arranging some provincial-level units, not organizing at the district level, merging some commune-level units, and implementing the two-level locality model. Accordingly, it is necessary to ensure a streamlined, efficient, effective, and efficient political system. At the same time, it must be researched objectively, democratically, scientifically, specifically, deeply, receptively, and closely following the practical situation.
Regarding the two-level local government model, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia said that through research on public opinion, it shows that cadres, civil servants, party members, and people basically expressed their agreement, because they realized that implementing this model is for the benefit of the nation and people; it is an opportunity, a "golden" historical moment for the country's development, and if it is delayed any longer, it will not be possible. Meanwhile, regarding the arrangement at the provincial level, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that it is necessary to closely follow the principles stated in Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee and Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and Secretariat.
