Coffee price forecast tomorrow 1/30/202 5

Recent visits to coffee growing regions in Brazil have shown the crop is looking better than previously expected, thanks to rains over the past few months, traders said. But concerns about global coffee supplies are still growing, pushing prices higher, especially due to fund buying amid the price stress.

A forecast from Volcafe last December showed that global arabica coffee production in 2025/26 could fall by 8.5 million bags, larger than the 5.5 million bag deficit in 2024/25, marking the fifth consecutive year of deficit.

Another factor helping coffee prices remain stable was the announcement from the national food supply agency Conab (part of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture), which cut its estimate for Brazil's 2024 coffee crop to 54.2 million bags, down 1.1% from the previous estimate of 54.8 million bags in September 2024.

In Vietnam, entering the Lunar New Year holidays, most coffee transactions have stopped, many localities have finished this year's harvest and people and coffee growing businesses are focusing on the first watering and fertilizing to help coffee trees flower and bear fruit.

Based on market factors, experts predict that coffee prices tomorrow, January 30, 2025 (the second day of Tet) will continue to remain high, and prices are likely to continue to increase tomorrow.
