On the London floor, at 4:00 p.m. on February 20, 2025, Robusta coffee prices continued to increase slightly compared to yesterday, increasing by 18 - 25 USD/ton, ranging from 5,633 - 5,756 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for March 2025 is 5,756 USD/ton (up 18 USD/ton), the delivery price for May 2025 is 5,746 USD/ton (up 25 USD/ton), the delivery price for July 2025 is 5,701 USD/ton (up 23 USD/ton) and September 2025 is 5,633 USD/ton (up 24 USD/ton).

At the end of the trading session, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor had another mixed trading session. Specifically, the March 2025 delivery period was 417.90 cents/lb (down 1.10 cents/lb), the May 2025 delivery period increased to 411.90 cents/lb (up 6.65 cents/lb), the July 2025 delivery period was 397.30 cents/lb (up 7 cents/lb) and the September 2025 delivery period was 385.05 cents/lb (up 6.25 cents/lb).

On the contrary, at the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee also continued to have a strong increase, recorded as follows: The delivery period for March 2025 was 510.00 USD/ton (up 8.40 USD/ton), the delivery period for May 2025 was 506.00 USD/ton (up 0.70 USD/ton), the delivery period for July 2025 was 501.00 USD/ton (up 9.25 USD/ton) and the delivery period for September 2025 was 482.00 USD/ton (up 2.90 USD/ton).

Domestic coffee prices continue to increase

According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 4:00 p.m. today, February 21, 2025, domestic coffee prices continued to increase, at an average of 133,400 VND/kg, an increase of 900 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

The highest purchase price in key areas of the Central Highlands was recorded at 133,500 VND/kg. Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak was 133,300 VND/kg (up 800 VND/kg), in Lam Dong was 132,200 VND/kg (up 1,400 VND/kg), in Gia Lai was 133,300 VND/kg (up 800 VND/kg) and in Dak Nong today was 133,500 VND/kg (up 1,000 VND/kg).

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

Coffee price forecast tomorrow 21/2/2025

Over the past week, domestic coffee prices have hovered around VND130,000/kg, with transactions becoming more active as both buyers and sellers reached agreements on prices. Many domestic coffee roasters have proactively imported goods, no longer waiting for prices to drop further.

After a downward adjustment last week, domestic coffee prices quickly recovered. Compared to the lowest level last week, recorded at VND129,800/kg, current coffee prices have increased by about VND2,700 - 3,000/kg, reinforcing the upward trend after several downward adjustments.

However, coffee industry experts also warned about factors that could impact prices. They stressed that any unexpected developments in the market, as well as weather factors such as drought or frost in Brazil and the Central Highlands of Vietnam, could have a major impact on coffee prices.

Forecasting for tomorrow, February 21, 2025, experts say coffee prices will continue to increase, reflecting positive developments in the market.
