The project of the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe Tinh Folk Heritage (Trung Do Ward, Vinh City) was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An Province for construction drawings and construction estimates of main items since 2016.

This project is divided into 2 investment phases. In phase 1, the items to be constructed include: Administrative building for performing and collecting, researching, preserving and storing folk heritage; leveling the ground; general water supply; general electricity supply; underground water tank for domestic use and fire prevention and fighting, equipment.

The project is invested from the central budget under the target program for cultural and sports development with an investment of 69 billion VND, with the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province as the investor. The construction unit is Hoang Kim Construction Joint Stock Company.

The project has a scale of 5 floors, a 500-seat auditorium, administrative, research, collection, conservation rooms and auxiliary rooms with a total floor area of ​​over 6,200m2.

Phase 2 will include landscape garden items, equipment, sound and lighting for the entire building.

According to the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, the project has completed the administrative building for performing and collecting, researching, preserving, and archiving folk heritage... The remaining items are awaiting approval in phase 2.

For nearly 8 years, the project has not been completed and put into use, some items show signs of deterioration and damage.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Anh - Head of Planning and Finance Department (Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports) said that the project is being proposed to the Central Government for capital allocation to invest in the construction of phase 2. Consulting units are working and surveying to determine the specifics.
