Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien visited veterans and youth volunteers participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

On May 3, comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to families of former soldiers and youth volunteers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) currently living in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City.

Visiting Mr. Tran Van Ninh, Quarter 4, Phuoc My Ward; the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Sen, Quarter 6, Do Vinh Ward, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inquired about the health and life of the veterans and their families; expressed gratitude for the dedication of the youth of the veterans and young volunteers in the resistance war against French colonialism, contributing with our army and people to the Dien Bien Phu victory "famous in five continents, shaking the world"; thereby opening a new era for the Vietnamese revolution in unifying the country.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited Mr. Tran Van Ninh's family.

He wished the veterans and their families good health, to be a solid support for their children and grandchildren, to continue to promote the tradition of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” and the spirit of the Dien Bien soldiers of the past, and to always be a shining example for the younger generations to follow; he requested the Party Committee, local authorities and associations and unions to continue to encourage, care for and support the families of veterans and youth volunteers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
