On behalf of the staff, editors, reporters and technicians of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, briefly reported on the results of the information and propaganda work of the Newspaper. Over the past years, promoting the tradition of revolutionary journalism, Tuyen Quang Newspaper has made efforts and constantly innovated, renewed and developed Tuyen Quang Newspaper in a multimedia, professional and modern direction.
The printed newspaper has actively innovated in the direction of specialization, implementing many quality topics and pages. Currently, the printed newspaper maintains 4 issues/week, including 3 regular issues and 1 issue of Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper. In addition, there is also the Tuyen Quang Highland Photo News, published 2 issues/month.

Tuyen Quang Electronic Newspaper has promptly updated the situation in the province, at home and abroad, ensuring information and public opinion orientation. In the first 6 months of 2024, Tuyen Quang Electronic Newspaper has conducted 18 live broadcasts on Tuyen Quang Electronic Newspaper. The newspaper continues to develop social platforms such as Fanpage, Tiktok, Youtube, Zalo, effectively maintaining 5 fanpages. Staff, editors, and reporters have actively carried out assigned breakthrough tasks, many of which have been completed.
Tuyen Quang Newspaper has won many awards at the Central and ministerial press awards. Since the beginning of the year, Tuyen Quang Newspaper has won the C prize at the 18th National Press Award in 2023, scheduled to be presented on June 21, and has also won 3 Encouragement prizes at press awards organized by ministries and branches.

In his congratulatory speech to Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam praised, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Tuyen Quang Newspaper in the past time. He affirmed that Tuyen Quang Newspaper always closely followed the policies and resolutions of the Party, the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, focusing on timely propaganda of political, economic, cultural and social events, major holidays of the country, the results achieved in the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th Provincial Party Congress; promptly orienting public opinion, fighting against false and hostile information. Tuyen Quang Newspaper has made many efforts and won awards to participate in the Central Press Awards.
He suggested that in the coming time, Tuyen Quang Newspaper should continue to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, focusing on effectively and promptly disseminating major political, cultural events and holidays of the country and the province; the results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th Provincial Party Congress, the preparation work for the 14th National Party Congress, activities to welcome the Congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels, the resolutions of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the new term; activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam, the progress of building new rural areas in Son Duong district; the work of building and rectifying the Party, the political system, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, the management activities of the government; the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations.
He emphasized that Tuyen Quang Newspaper needs to pay more attention to, strengthen and improve the quality of articles fighting and refuting wrong and hostile viewpoints. The newspaper needs to focus on promoting tourism, agricultural and trade products on central press agencies, contributing to widely promoting the potential and strengths of the province.

The newspaper needs to coordinate effectively and closely with agencies and units in information and propaganda work to create consensus and trust among the people, and to contribute to solving difficult problems. Tuyen Quang Newspaper needs to increase the application of information technology, digital transformation, pay attention to training and fostering a team of experienced and highly specialized journalists, and strive to build Tuyen Quang Newspaper into a modern, multimedia press agency in the northern mountainous region.
He noted that in the process of information and propaganda, Tuyen Quang Newspaper must ensure both promptness and timeliness, but also accuracy and sensitivity when providing information, playing a leading role in orienting public opinion.
