The procession was solemnly held with the participation of many people in the area.

Doctor Dinh Nho Dien was born on January 17, 1846, in a Confucian family, in the 6th year of the Thieu Tri era, belonging to the 14th generation of the Dinh Nho family - a famous and powerful family in the old An Ap village (now An Hoa Thinh commune). He died on April 5, 1884, in the first year of the Kien Phuc era.

Doctor Dinh Nho Dien served as an official under four Nguyen Dynasty kings: Tu Duc (1847 - 1883), Duc Duc (1883), Hiep Hoa (1883) and Kien Phuc (1983 - 1984). From Nghia Hung District Chief to Trung Thuan Grand Master, Hong Lo Tu Khanh, Inspector of the Ministry of Justice and Head of the Seal Office, then transferred to the National History Institute of the Nguyen Dynasty, participating in reviewing the Imperial Annals of Vietnam, Quang Loc Tu Thieu Khanh, and Academician.

On May 25, 1883, the Hue court and the French colonialists signed the Hac Mang Quy Mui Peace Treaty; on June 6, 1884, the Giap Than Peace Treaty was signed, establishing the long-term protectorate of the French colonialists over the entire territory of Vietnam, dividing the country into three regions. Of which, Bac Ky and Trung Ky became protectorates, and Nam Ky became a colony of the French colonialists.

Faced with the situation of losing his country and his family, as a loyal and patriotic scholar, he clearly showed an uncooperative attitude. Unable to bear the humiliation of losing his country but helpless, he went on a hunger strike, became depressed, fell ill and died (at the age of 39).

Currently, the tomb of Doctor Dinh Nho Dien is buried in Thien Nhan village; his temple was established by his children and grandchildren in Dong My village, An Hoa Thinh commune.

In 1899, 15 years after his death, remembering the merits of a loyal, diligent and meritorious mandarin, the king issued a decree to build a temple to worship Dinh Nho Dien. Currently, the upper hall of the temple still hangs a horizontal lacquered board with four large Chinese characters transcribed as "Sac tu lap tu", meaning (the king) issued a decree to build a temple to worship him.
