Students learn recruitment information from business representatives
These businesses need candidates with college degrees in technical occupations including: automotive technology, electricity, electronics, refrigeration, mechatronics, metal cutting, information technology, with an average starting salary of 8-10 million VND/month.
Specifically, Lotte Properties and Development Vietnam (under Lotte Group Korea) is recruiting about 150-200 employees to operate Lotte commercial complexes and office buildings in Vietnam. Hanwha Aero Engines Co., Ltd. needs 15 highly skilled technicians in mechanical fields such as welding, metal cutting and mechatronics to operate CNC machines and manufacture components for the aviation sector.
Meanwhile, Denso Vietnam Company is recruiting 6 graduates from the fields of metal cutting, mechatronics, and industrial electronics to work as mechanical design technicians, operations technicians, and product quality managers. Viet Chuan Joint Stock Company is recruiting 30 technician positions in the fields of metal cutting and mechatronics.

A representative of Honda Vietnam Company said: “We are recruiting positions for the nationwide auto dealership system, doing maintenance, vehicle consulting, and sales consulting. For high school graduates working at the factory in Vinh Phuc, they have a starting income of 8,530,000 VND/month and are provided with dormitory accommodation and 1 meal at the company. As for college graduates with high technical positions, the starting salary is higher and after a while is about 12-13 million VND/month, not including allowances and overtime income."
Mr. Vu Van Nam, CEO of Hyundai showroom in Phuc Yen, said that new graduates with expertise, soft skills, good sense of compliance with procedures and discipline will be welcomed to work at the company. The starting salary is about more than 8 million VND/month for the position of technician and can be higher for sales consultants.
According to Dr. Dong Van Ngoc, Principal of Hanoi College of Electromechanics, the school organizes 2-4 job fairs each year depending on the number of registered businesses, each session is divided by industry group. On average, every year, 40-50 corporations and businesses register to recruit graduates of the school and each session has about 300-400 students recruited.
"Businesses have a huge demand for human resources in the fields of automotive technology, mechatronics, electrical-electronics, refrigeration, metal cutting... Therefore, the school provides as many jobs as it trains, even right from the internship period in the third year, students are accepted by companies," Dr. Ngoc shared.
