Normally, people's consumption demand increases during the Lunar New Year. Anticipating this trend, businesses in the province are actively producing goods with diverse designs and focusing on improving quality to supply the market.

As a unit specializing in the production and processing of local seafood, Van Don Seafood Company Limited currently has 2 products, oyster floss and shrimp floss, which are recognized as 4-star OCOP products of the province. Along with that, the unit also processes some typical products of Van Don, such as: mantis shrimp floss, shrimp floss, dried sea worms... Good quality, reasonable price, eye-catching packaging, the unit's products are trusted and favored by many people, especially used as gifts at the end of the year and Tet. Currently, the unit maintains 3 continuous shifts of production with 10 workers to fully meet orders.

Ms. Do Thi Thuy, Director of Van Don Seafood Company Limited, said: Due to the impact of storm No. 3, seafood raw materials for processing are relatively scarce. To meet the market demand at the end of the year, the unit has quickly stocked up on seafood raw materials to ensure the production of 1,000 jars of finished floss of each type. This year, orders have increased by 10-15% so the unit is rushing to produce.

As a pioneer in the production of mushrooms using biotechnology in cold storage in the province, since the beginning of December, Long Hai Company Limited in Dong Trieu City has mobilized maximum human resources, machinery and equipment to maintain the production of mushrooms such as: Enoki mushrooms, chicken thighs, tea, oyster mushrooms... with an output of 100-200kg/day. In addition to supermarkets, convenience stores, and clean food stores in the province, the company's mushroom products are also supplied to markets in many localities across the country.

Mr. Pham Quang Nhue, Director of Long Hai Company Limited, said: Edible mushrooms are cold, nourishing, have a very high nutritional content such as protein, vitamins, minerals and have many pharmacological effects, when eaten they have a delicious taste. The company's mushrooms are favored by many people in and outside the province, especially during the Lunar New Year. Despite the impact of economic difficulties, people's demand during the Lunar New Year this year increased by 15-20% compared to last year. Right from the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2024, the company has planned to produce mushrooms to meet the market demand at the end of the year, especially during the Lunar New Year. The company has carefully prepared the embryos, substrates and human resources to promptly respond to orders. In particular, mastering the technology of producing embryos helps the company proactively produce, meet suddenly increased orders, and ensure strict standards.

Taking advantage of the favorable conditions of the year-end market, in addition to boosting production, this year's Tet season, businesses in the province are actively promoting their products on e-commerce platforms.

To stimulate people's shopping, the unit has worked with e-commerce platforms to have promotional policies, discounts, and incentives for customers. At the same time, maintaining 20 workers working 3 shifts continuously to produce orders in time, helping people have many product choices during Tet.
