Meeting on propaganda and mass mobilization work in the first quarter of 2025

On the afternoon of April 3, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to review propaganda and mass mobilization work in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2025. Comrade Nguyen Duc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrades leading the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the district Party Committees, town Party Committees, city Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committees at all levels proactively and actively advised Party committees at all levels to promptly disseminate and issue leadership and direction documents to effectively implement propaganda and mass mobilization work in the area; advised Party committees to organize preliminary and final reviews and assessments of the implementation of Party resolutions and directives on propaganda and mass mobilization in appropriate, practical and effective forms. At the same time, maintain monthly conferences of reporters, provide information and orient propaganda content for the team of reporters and propagandists in the province. During the quarter, the provincial level organized 1 conference of reporters online, 1 conference in person with the participation of over 100 provincial-level reporters and officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; the district level and equivalent organized over 10 online and in-person conferences of reporters for over 300 district-level reporters. The network of social opinion collaborators from the province to the grassroots level continues to be consolidated and improved.

In addition, the orientation of press, cultural - artistic, scientific and educational activities, compilation, propaganda, education of Party history, and traditional history of the sector were paid attention to. The grasp of the ideological situation of cadres, party members and people; the situation of religious and belief activities in the area was ensured in a timely manner. The propaganda work of political events of the country, the province, the locality, holidays and anniversaries was promoted. The work of fostering and educating political theory was carried out regularly; in the quarter, the whole province opened 20 classes for more than 1,300 students. The mass mobilization work of the government continued to be innovated; the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations promoted their core role in supervision, social criticism and giving opinions on Party building and government building. The implementation of coordination programs between the propaganda and mass mobilization sector and related agencies and units was maintained in a regular manner. The construction and replication of models of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model continue to be widely deployed, creating great influence... Thereby, contributing to economic development, ensuring social security, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; strengthening national defense, security, foreign affairs; building a strong political system...

At the conference, delegates exchanged, discussed and agreed on the tasks that need to be focused on in the second quarter of 2025. In particular, continuing to do a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee to organize the study, dissemination and implementation of resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central and the province; issuing a Plan to respond to the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2025; reporting on the assessment of the implementation results of the projects and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality and effectiveness of the Party's mass mobilization work, strengthening the Party's leadership in ideological work in the new situation; organizing specialized training conferences to update new knowledge for key cadres of the province; organizing the 2nd Workshop on the book series "History of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, Volumes I, II, III, period (1927 - 2025)". At the same time, advise the Provincial Steering Committee for the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" to issue a Plan to summarize the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. In particular, focus on propagating the implementation of the organization and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system, merging administrative units at the commune and provincial levels, not organizing at the district level; propagating the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; commemorative activities... Along with that, strengthen and proactively grasp the ideological situation of cadres, party members and people; the situation of receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations; the situation of beliefs and religions in the province; step up the fight against false and distorted arguments of hostile forces; continue to promote propaganda of good models and typical factors in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh; Improve the quality of teaching and learning political theory at district-level political centers and affiliated party committees...
