Display and introduce typical products of Doan Hung district at the cultural camp.

Accordingly, the district has completed the installation of a cultural camp designed in the form of a stilt house of the Cao Lan ethnic group before March 25, which is the 26th day of the second lunar month. At the same time, it has organized cultural and artistic activities, displayed and introduced typical products of ethnic groups in the district at the cultural camp.

Directly participating in displaying and introducing the district's products at the camp, Ms. Le Thi Cham - an officer of the district's Agricultural Service Center said: Every year, on the occasion of the Hung Temple Festival, farmers from all over the district want to introduce typical local products to friends and visitors from near and far. This year, the products displayed and introduced at the cultural camp are mainly typical OCCOP products of the district such as: Doan Hung grapefruit, grapefruit flower essence, grapefruit essential oil, grapefruit peel jam, products from tea trees, Vu Quang noodles, Khoai black sticky rice, Hung Long honey and clean agricultural products grown according to organic processes without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides...

People and tourists experience traditional customs introduced at Doan Hung district cultural camp.

In addition, during the festival days, at the Doan Hung district cultural camp, Phu Bung hill, Hung Temple historical relic site will organize performances of unique folk performances, typical folk games of the Cao Lan ethnic group. There will also be an art exchange program between 4 Xoan clubs of 3 communes of Tay Coc, Chan Mong, Hung Long and 14 mass art teams of 14 communes and towns in the district...

Assigned as the main unit to develop a design plan for the cultural camp installation model along with cultural programs and activities at the festival, comrade Tran Duc Bien - Chairman of Ngoc Quan Commune People's Committee informed: Ngoc Quan Commune People's Committee has closely coordinated with the District Center for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Communications and mobilized the participation of the entire political system and local people in building a cultural camp to ensure reasonableness, balance, harmony, and aesthetics between the assigned area and the surrounding landscape, creating favorable conditions for cultural activities at the camp. For cultural and artistic activities, in the performance program of the gau-chim dance - suc tom, Sinh Ca singing... the new point this year is that together with artisans and mass actors, the commune has selected 13 talented children from 10 to 12 years old to practice and perform together. Through that, it affirms the transmission and continuity while building the next generation of nuclei in preserving and maintaining traditional culture in the locality.

Doan Hung district rowing team actively practices to best prepare for the Viet Tri Open rowing tournament.

Along with cultural and artistic activities, the district also established a rowing team with 30 members including: 1 Team Leader, 1 Coach, 1 medical staff and 27 athletes (1 rower, 1 commander, 20 official rowers and 5 reserve athletes). The People's Committee of Hop Nhat commune was assigned to coordinate with the District Center for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Communications to organize the team to practice as well as participate in the Viet Tri Open Rowing Competition.

Comrade Nguyen Van Chung - Chairman of Hop Nhat Commune People's Committee said: The members participating in the Doan Hung district rowing team this year mainly come from Van Tap, Van Cuong 1, 2, Hop Nhat commune... who work as fishermen, boatmen, and have experience on the river. Before the tournament, the members practiced hard on the Lo River and at Van Lang Park Lake with the determination to achieve high results in this year's tournament.

With the participation of the entire political system, the joint efforts and consensus of the majority of the people, Doan Hung district hopes to create a good and memorable impression on visitors during the Hung Temple Festival and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land.
