He said the city's consistent viewpoint in the contents of the "Spring Homeland Program" is to consider overseas Vietnamese as "guests" and wants to create a feeling of "coming home" for overseas Vietnamese.

The youngest typical overseas Vietnamese is Pham Viet Ha, 8 years old, living in Australia.

Sharing his feelings during the two-day visit, Mr. Luong Xuan Hoa, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Udon Thani Province and Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Thailand, expressed his joy at seeing the city increasingly prosperous and dynamically developing, and felt extremely proud of his country.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka - Japan, could not hide his joy during his visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

When witnessing the development of Thu Duc City, visiting the Metro line and many other prominent locations in Ho Chi Minh City, he said he felt very proud to be Vietnamese and happy with the development of the country.

Dr. Phan Bich Thien, a businessman living in Hungary, said that many Vietnamese people in Hungary work in the technology sector and asked the city's leaders to allow overseas Hungarian intellectuals to participate in the project to contribute to the city's development.

In the context of Vietnam positioning itself in the world, she suggested promoting Vietnamese culture to the world but choosing key and unique features. She suggested promoting Ho Chi Minh City as a place with sleepless street food.

At the meeting with leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Ha sang "Vietnam in me" and sent New Year wishes to the delegates and leaders present at the event.
