On March 12 and 13, Supervisory Team No. 2 of the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial People's Council, led by Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, conducted a thematic supervision of the implementation of crop restructuring, improving production efficiency and consumption of agricultural products in Kim Dong, Phu Cu districts and Hung Yen city.
According to the report at the monitoring session, in the period of 2021 - 2024, Kim Dong, Phu Cu districts and Hung Yen city effectively implemented the conversion of crop structure, formed production areas towards concentrated commodities, formed and developed collective economic models, and linked production; mechanization in livestock farming was promoted; maintenance and repair of irrigation and drainage systems were carried out regularly to ensure stable irrigation and drainage activities serving the cultivated areas; agricultural cooperatives and cooperative groups have built production links according to the value chain; many cooperatives, production, processing and trading establishments of agricultural products and OCOP products have applied digital transformation to promote and consume products on e-commerce platforms...
The monitoring team requested Kim Dong, Phu Cu districts and Hung Yen city to clarify a number of contents such as: Solutions to maintain and further improve the quality of OCOP products; mobilizing resources to develop high-tech agricultural commodities associated with restructuring the agricultural sector; funding sources to support in the agricultural sector, etc.
Concluding the monitoring session in localities, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Tuyet Huong requested the People's Committees of Kim Dong, Phu Cu districts and Hung Yen city to absorb the opinions of the members of the monitoring team, complete the report and send it to the secretariat for synthesis and reporting. At the same time, continue to review, adjust and supplement the detailed planning of agricultural production, ensuring that it is suitable for actual needs, orienting the development of the agricultural sector towards concentration and large scale; applying advanced and modern production processes associated with processing and preservation to improve product quality, reduce costs, increase the competitiveness of goods, increase added value and sustainable development; expand VietGAP production areas; encourage the establishment and development of cooperatives and agricultural cooperatives to implement production - consumption chain linkages; promote the application of science and technology in agricultural and rural development...
During the working program, the Supervisory Team conducted a field survey at a deer farm model in Pham Ngu Lao commune (Kim Dong); An Thinh Phat vegetable and medicinal plant production and supply cooperative, Tong Tran commune (Phu Cu); Hung Ha cooperative, Hoang Hanh commune (Hung Yen city).
