This afternoon, December 5, the Working Group of Local Department II, the Central Organizing Committee and the organizing committees of 13 provincial and municipal Party Committees in the Central Highlands region offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Truong Son and Road 9 national martyrs' cemeteries and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.

At the two national martyrs' cemeteries of Truong Son and Road 9, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation of the Local Department II, the Central Organizing Committee and the organizing committees of the provincial and municipal Party Committees of the Central - Central Highlands regions laid wreaths and offered incense at the memorial, paying tribute and commemorating the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the Fatherland.

Offering flowers and incense at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the delegation expressed gratitude and commemorated the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fell during the 81-day and night campaign in the summer of 1972. The battle to protect Quang Tri Ancient Citadel is an immortal epic, a shining testament to revolutionary heroism with the aspiration for peace, independence and freedom.
The victory of the campaign has engraved heroic pages in the revolutionary struggle of the Vietnamese people, contributing to the victory at the Paris Conference negotiation table, ending the war, restoring peace to Vietnam, creating a new turning point for the national liberation struggle to reach final victory.
