On the morning of January 24, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that, based on the information reported, the unit quickly investigated and worked with the car driver who cut in front of and blocked a passenger bus on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

Specifically, at around 11:44 a.m. on January 22, at Km3 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway (from Hanoi to Lao Cai), the driver of a car with license plate 30L-561.XX cut in front of, swerved, and squeezed multiple times in front of a passenger bus with license plate 24H-022.XX.

Not stopping there, the car driver also blocked the passenger bus from stopping in the middle of the highway in the lane that allows 100km/h, causing traffic disorder.

Immediately upon receiving the feedback, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department) sent officers and soldiers to quickly verify and clarify.

Through verification, the driver of the car with license plate 30L-561.XX is Mr. NHT (born 2001, residing in Tuyen Quang).

At the police station, Mr. T. said that while driving on the highway, the passenger bus overtook him and hit his side mirror. However, the passenger bus did not stop but continued moving. Due to frustration, Mr. T. drove his car overtook him and cut in front of him... for a distance of nearly 1km.

"Although the bus cut in front of me many times, it did not stop, so I had to block the car in the middle of the highway," Mr. T. explained.

Mr. NVK (born in 1982, residing in Lao Cai), the driver of the passenger bus with license plate 24H-022.XX, said that he had no conflict or collision with the driver NHT.

"When the car driver cut us off, there were 33 passengers on the bus. These people were very panicked when witnessing driver T's behavior," said driver NVK.

The Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department) has handed over all relevant documents to the Investigation Agency of Soc Son District Police (Hanoi) for further verification, clarification and handling according to the provisions of law.
