Conference Overview

Implementing the Digital Transformation Program of Bac Ninh province to 2025, with a vision to 2030, the Department of Health has issued a plan to implement the Digital Transformation Program of the Health Sector, setting the goal that by 2025, all medical facilities in the area will complete the implementation of electronic medical records. In order to create a breakthrough in digital transformation, the Health sector has determined the implementation roadmap for each task, assigned specific responsibilities to accelerate the implementation of electronic medical records; Promote connection and data exchange between hospitals in the area and Bach Mai Hospital.

Conference Delegates

Up to now, 100% of public health units in the province have successfully deployed electronic medical records; the Provincial General Hospital and Yen Phong District Medical Center have successfully piloted the paperless hospital model; Medical facilities in the area have connected and communicated electronic medical records with the Health Sector Data Coordination Center; Regular tasks of Project 06 in the health sector have also been effectively maintained and implemented by units in the sector. The whole sector currently has more than 3,900 public hospital beds; The total number of medical examinations and treatments in 2024 will reach 2.3 million, and the quality of medical examinations and treatments will be increasingly improved. The sector focuses on developing techniques and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment. In particular, provincial units have successfully deployed many new and advanced techniques in medical examination and treatment, continued to invest in purchasing medical equipment, and trained human resources to develop high techniques and specialized techniques according to the High Technology Development Application Project approved by the Provincial People's Committee; 100% of district units have deployed hemodialysis, computed tomography, and endoscopic surgery.

Accordingly, Hanoi Medical University Hospital will cooperate and provide professional support according to the proposal of Yen Phong District Medical Center, Thuan Thanh Town Medical Center and medical units of Bac Ninh province in accordance with the conditions and actual situation of the two sides, including the following areas: Training; Technology transfer; Remote and on-site medical examination and treatment. Survey and connect medical units of Bac Ninh province into the Remote Medical Examination and Treatment model with Hanoi Medical University Hospital; Scientific research; Support in some other areas: Information technology, Bidding, Financial and accounting operations, etc.

Affirming that digital transformation in the health sector has no end point; He requested the health sector to focus on closely directing facilities that have deployed electronic medical records to complete updating to the Ministry of Health's Information Portal by April 15 at the latest; All non-public health facilities must complete the construction of electronic medical records by May 30. For health facilities that have completed electronic medical records, they must implement paperless hospitals by June 30 at the latest.
