Ba Ria - Vung Tau Loc An Beach with a peaceful stone embankment area is a destination for many young people who love photography and cuisine.
Loc An Beach, located in Loc An Commune, Dat Do District, about 50 km from the center of Vung Tau City, is one of the beautiful beaches of the province. Recently, check-in photos at Loc An stone embankment area have attracted much attention and love from tourists with its deserted and romantic scenery.

Ms. May Nguyen, a local, guides tourists to move along Highway 51B, turn into the path to Long Hai town, pass Minh Dam mountain to reach Loc An beach. Loc An stone embankment and Loc An public beach are located next to each other, about 300 m from the highway. The road to the stone embankment is a sand road that is quite easy to travel, just drive slowly to avoid the car slipping.
The road from Long Hai to Loc An will pass through Phuoc Hai market. In the first days of the year, visitors will admire the pink color of cherry blossoms blooming on both sides of the road. Here visitors can stop to buy fresh seafood as ingredients for a barbecue party on the beach. One of Phuoc Hai's famous specialties is oysters.
Mr. Pham Tuy Son, owner of Vuon Dua restaurant near Loc An stone embankment, said that the stone embankment is located right next to the public beach, about 500 meters long running from the mainland to the sea. The embankment was built about two years ago and is a favorite fishing spot for locals. After photos taken at the stone embankment were posted on social media, from around the end of April, this place began to attract many tourists. The road is spacious, with wave-blocking rocks on both sides, so visitors can safely enter by motorbike or car.
Loc An beach is clear and sheltered from the wind, the sand is flat and clean, and is also an ideal place for tourists to walk, watch the sunrise and sunset. Tourists can also bring their own tents, camp and organize a free barbecue.
In addition to the stone embankment, visitors can travel along the national highway for about 1 km to reach Loc An ferry, the meeting point of the Ho Chi Minh trail at sea. Loc An ferry has gone down in history with unnumbered ships, becoming the receiving point for three important strategic shipments with more than 100 tons of weapons supplied to the revolutionary forces in the South during the resistance war against the US, according to the electronic information portal of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Passing the ferry, Loc An fishing port, about 1.5 km from the beach, is also a check-in location with colorful pointed boats and round fishing boats of the locals. However, because this is a fishing village, there is a lot of garbage from the people, causing odor and losing the aesthetics when taking photos.
On his cycling journey from Hanoi to Long An, Mr. Tran Viet Duong visited Loc An stone embankment on April 28. He shared: "The seascape here is not as beautiful as Phu Yen or Khanh Hoa, but it has a simple and wild beauty. Along the coast, there are still many places with protective forests and mainly fishing villages with peaceful scenery."
Coming to Loc An, visitors can enjoy local dishes such as mudskippers cooked with tamarind, Loc An fish salad or rice wine distilled by Loc An people. In addition, visitors can ask for the location of longan gardens and yam gardens in the residential area about 1 km from the beach to visit or buy as gifts. Yam is a specialty of Dat Do district, a type of oriental medicine with many good effects such as stabilizing blood sugar, strengthening the kidneys, treating asthma, dry cough, some digestive diseases, diabetes. This is also the ingredient used by people to make many nutritious dishes such as yam porridge, yam soup with bones.

Because it is completely isolated from the residential area, Loc An beach is quite quiet and still wild, without many tourist services, suitable for those who like to be close to nature. Near the beach, there are a few motels and hotels for tourists to stay, prices range from 300,000 to 500,000 VND per night.
