'Vietnam Night' is imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity

On the evening of September 6, the Vietnam Night Gala with the theme Shape of Vietnam took place at Gem Center (HCMC).

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Phan Van Mai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - and nearly 800 delegates, domestic and international guests and travel agencies.

This is the opening activity for a series of activities within the framework of the 17th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2023 (ITE HCMC).

Promote traditional cultural beauty

Vietnam Night Gala is one of the activities that connects delegates from all over the world to Ho Chi Minh City. This is also an opportunity for Vietnam to introduce its unique culture, cuisine, and traditional arts to international friends.

Attending this year's Vietnam Night Gala were delegates and guests from 42 countries and territories around the world.

Mr. Phan Van Mai said that the art program Vietnam Shape is a greeting, an invitation for tourists to come to Vietnam to admire the majestic and beautiful nature, explore and experience the diverse and rich culture.

Mr. Mai emphasized: “HCMC - a city that cherishes traditional values ​​and always looks to the future, a vibrant, friendly, and exciting destination; a city that harmoniously blends a dynamic, modern lifestyle in a space filled with long-standing architectural and cultural values.

This is also a city with modern riverside constructions interspersed with canals and streams; a city where you can find any delicious dish in the world alongside delicious dishes from all over Vietnam.

Special art program

With the theme of Vietnam's Shape , the art program brought vibrant performances, expressing the cultural identity and Vietnamese people to international friends.

The orchestra of the Bong Sen Traditional Music and Dance Theater performed the concert Echoes of the Country through Vietnamese traditional musical instruments such as lithophone, T'rung, Dinh Pa, gourd, flute... to open the program.

The program continued with elaborately staged performances, expressing national pride: Eastern Dawn, A Circle of Vietnam, Vietnamese Smile, Fish and Shrimp Song, Saigon Here We Come, A Thousand Vietnamese Dreams through the voices of Ngoc Mai , singer Hoang Bach's family, Ayor group, Bich Ngoc...

Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair   takes place from September 7 to 9, at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

The event took place with many major forums and seminars such as: High-level tourism forum "Digital transformation promotes tourism development"; seminar on tourism and hotel industry - Vietnam's resort industry - Opportunities and challenges; 4th ASEAN Public Relations and Communications Forum and a series of thematic events on destination communication.

Within the framework of the event, there are many other outstanding tourism promotion and advertising activities such as: Introducing Chile tourism - Chile, Where the impossible is possible; a unique Korean experience program, introducing Japan tourism, introducing Quang Ninh tourism and Kien Giang tourism connection conference.
