On the afternoon of April 11, at Pham Van Dong Square, Quang Ngai City, paragliding performers attracted many people to watch and admire their beautiful movements.

This is one of many activities of the Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025 event.

When the first paraglider took to the sky, people clapped their hands and cheered excitedly. Ms. Nhi (32 years old, Quang Ngai City) said: "This is the first time in my life that I have directly watched a paragliding performance, it is really beautiful, very impressive".

Not only Quang Ngai city residents but also people from neighboring districts bring their children to Pham Van Dong square to watch artists perform in the sky.

Although the event was announced to start at 5:30 p.m., many young people were already present at the square from 4 p.m., choosing a cafe with a suitable view to wait for the artists to start their engines and launch their parachutes into the air.

Ha Nhi (20 years old, Tu Nghia district) said: “I have seen the activities of Quang Ngai tourism week this year. Paragliding is the first event, so my friends and I took the opportunity to go see it. A few years ago, there was also a paragliding performance in Ly Son, but unfortunately I couldn't go. Now I have witnessed it with my own eyes.”

The performances became more and more attractive and impressive. Especially when the artists released the national flag in the air; sprayed colored powder; lined up in the air…

What is Quang Ngai Tourism Week?

Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025 has the theme " Discovering Quang Ngai - Where the blue sea and culture converge", taking place from April 11 to April 17. Many events take place in localities such as: Quang Ngai city, Ba To district, Nghia Hanh district and Ly Son island.

After the paragliding performance, at 7:30 p.m. tonight (April 11), the opening ceremony of Quang Ngai Tourism Week 2025 will take place at Pham Van Dong Square.

The opening ceremony is a unique art program bearing the cultural imprint of Quang Ngai, consisting of three chapters: Convergence of quintessence - Blue sea dance - Sound of aspiration.

The opening ceremony also featured singer Isaac - the eldest brother in the Best 5 lineup of "Anh Trai Say Hi".

During the tourism week, there will be other notable activities, such as: Fashion Festival, street music "Carnival Quang Ngai Say Hi!" taking place in Quang Ngai City. The program combines fashion shows, vibrant music and street food, creating a colorful festival space. With the participation of beauty queens, runners-up, models and more than 1,200 professional and amateur actors and tens of thousands of people and tourists.

In Ly Son, there will be a ceremony to commemorate Hoang Sa soldiers and a traditional boat racing festival of the four sacred animals; in Ba To district, there will be a H're cultural space with traditional cultural activities such as Teng village brocade weaving and gong performance art...
