According to the Israel Defense Forces, Israeli warplanes attacked a military compound in the town of Kfarchouba last night and an observation post near the town of Khiam was also attacked the day before. Video of the airstrike was released by the Israel Defense Forces.
Lebanese media also reported heavy Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Kafr Kalla, Deir Mimas, Al-Dhahra, Al-Jabain and Yarin.
A Lebanese civilian was killed in Kafr Kalla. Hezbollah also announced that one of its fighters was killed “on the way to Jerusalem”.

During the day, Hezbollah claimed only one attack. Bad weather conditions along the border limited the group's movements. The Hezbollah attack of the day was the al-Maraj site belonging to the Israel Defense Forces.
Hezbollah and its allies have carried out numerous cross-border attacks from southern Lebanon in support of Palestinian armed factions amid Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip.
As of January 10, the border clashes had left four Israeli civilians and nine IDF soldiers dead. On the Lebanese side, more than 180 people had died. That included 150 Hezbollah fighters, 14 of whom were killed in Syria, 25 Palestinians, one Lebanese soldier and at least 22 civilians.
Hezbollah also denied reports that a commander of the group's air force unit was killed in an attack by the Israeli Defense Forces.
“The commander (of the drone unit) has never been subjected to any assassination attempt as claimed by Israel,” Hezbollah said in a statement.
