In recent times, in order to exploit and promote advantages to develop tourism in the area, and to let tourists know the image of Thuong Xuan tourism, the district has increased tourism promotion activities to a large number of friends and domestic and foreign tourists through many forms, such as advertising on media, on digital platforms, through organizing cultural and tourism events to attract visitors. Along with that, the district also actively participates in cultural and tourism events and festivals organized by the province to introduce products and tourism potential as well as connect tourism service businesses in the province to access and expand the market.
Sam Son City is a key tourist destination of the province. In recent years, the city has been innovating tourism promotion and advertising in a professional, modern, focused, and highly effective manner, contributing to affirming Sam Son as a safe - attractive - friendly and hospitable destination for domestic and foreign tourists. In particular, in the digital age, the city pays special attention to promoting tourism through digital platforms, with places to eat, check-in, and visit regularly posted by tourism units and businesses on social networking sites. Along with that, the city also actively organizes a series of cultural and sports events associated with tourism promotion. From the beginning of 2024 until now, Sam Son has organized many cultural activities such as the Doc Cuoc temple blessing festival, the Hon Trong Mai love festival, the fishing - swimming festival, the banh chung - banh giay festival, culinary festivals, Thanh specialties...
