Nguyen Thi Oanh hopes to have a good result in the women's 1500m final. Nguyen Thi Oanh entered the final at 19:20.

Athletics finals include 3 events: 3000m steeplechase, 1500m women's, 1500m men's. In addition, Tran Thi Nhi Yen competes in the women's 200m qualifying round at 8:54.

In shooting, the men's individual trap competition starts at 8:00 a.m. If they have good results, the shooters of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will compete in the finals at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

In weightlifting, the number 1 hope of Vietnamese weightlifters at the 19th ASIAD is Trinh Van Vinh, who will compete in the final of the 61 kg weight class at 2:00 p.m. However, Trinh Van Vinh will have to face the reigning world champion Li Fabin (China) and the unknown from North Korea, so the goal is to compete for the bronze medal. Also participating in the 61 kg weight class with Trinh Van Vinh is Nguyen Tran Anh Tuan. In addition, Vietnamese weightlifters will also compete in the final of the 67 kg weight class at 6:00 p.m. with Tran Minh Tri.

In addition, chess is also a sport with the potential to win medals. Lai Ly Huynh and his teammates will compete in the 5th game of the mixed team event against the weaker Macau (China) team at 13:00. If they achieve their goal of winning, coach Hoang Dinh Hong and his team will face the host China again in the final, competing for the gold medal at 18:00.

In women's volleyball, the Vietnamese volleyball team will face the Korean team in the final match of Group C at 9:30 a.m. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team are determined to win against this team as they did in the Asian championship last month.

Neither the Vietnamese nor the Korean teams have made any significant changes in their squads compared to their last encounter, when Vietnam came from behind to win 3-2. If they can overcome the No. 4 team in Asia, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates will have a good chance of reaching the semi-finals of the 2023 ASIAD women's volleyball tournament.

On yesterday's competition day (September 30), the Vietnamese sports delegation did not win any more medals, so domestic sports fans are eagerly waiting for a surprise and hoping for more gold medals for the Vietnamese sports delegation.
