In early spring, we visit the ancestral tombs of Teacher Thim.

Recently, at the Thầy Thím tomb area, the Management Board of the Thầy Thím Shrine historical site (La Gi town, Binh Thuan province ) organized the traditional rituals of the 2024 Thầy Thím Tomb Sweeping Ceremony. A large number of local people and visitors from other regions came to participate in the rituals and visit the tomb.

The Tomb Sweeping Ceremony of Thầy Thím is one of the two major annual ceremonies of the Thầy Thím Shrine Festival, alongside the Memorial Ceremony for Thầy Thím (held from the 14th to the 16th of September in the lunar calendar). In the year of the Dragon (Giáp Thìn), the Tomb Sweeping Ceremony of Thầy Thím, besides traditional rituals, also features folk games and competitions reflecting the rich coastal culture, serving both locals and tourists during the early spring days. Because it coincides with the New Year, visitors also come to pray for peace, prosperity, and participate in charitable activities. It is known that the Thầy Thím Shrine Festival has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.

According to a report from the People's Committee of La Gi town, during the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Dragon (January 29 - February 4), the town welcomed approximately 30,000 visitors (mainly domestic tourists) who came to visit, travel, and participate in traditional festivals (a 200% increase compared to the same period last year). Besides visiting the Thầy Thím shrine, tourists also mainly concentrated in the Ngảnh Tam Tân area (Tân Tiến commune), Đồi Dương (Bình Tân ward), Cam Bình tourist area (Tân Phước commune), and resorts and hotels in the town.

According to the town's tourism department, tourism activities during the Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon) were quite safe, with no incidents of harassment or disorder at tourist attractions. Security, environmental hygiene, food safety, and the quality and price of services were ensured for tourists enjoying the holiday; there were no cases of food poisoning or drowning. Furthermore, during the holiday, the town continuously hosted vibrant cultural, artistic, and sporting activities, which also attracted tourists.
