Ms. Tran Lan Anh (Hanoi) said: Although my family has a car, I still booked a bus for a long trip because at this time there are many vehicles participating in traffic, traveling by high-quality bus will be safer.

Ms. Do Thi Gam, Head of Lao Cai Railway Transport Station, said that with the addition of a pair of trains, even though the number of passengers increased compared to normal days, there would be no shortage of tickets during this holiday. The station and train staff strictly followed the regulations of the railway industry to create the most friendly atmosphere for passengers, thereby attracting more people and tourists to use the railway.

According to industry statistics, since the beginning of the year, the number of train passengers has increased by one and a half times compared to the same period last year, reaching about 70,000 passengers. Faced with the high demand for travel, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the Department of Transport has developed a plan to organize passenger transport activities to ensure order and traffic safety. It requires transport businesses to develop a plan to arrange enough vehicles, drivers, and service staff on vehicles; have backup plans or increase vehicles to meet transportation needs; always ensure good technical condition of vehicles, absolutely do not let vehicles that do not meet technical standards participate in traffic; thoroughly educate drivers and service staff on vehicles to comply with regulations on driving time.
Implement transparently the declaration, posting and collection of transportation fares according to regulations; do not arbitrarily increase ticket prices and freight rates higher than those declared and posted during peak passenger service days.
Organize the operation of vehicles according to the registered plan and committed service quality; direct the traffic safety monitoring department to strengthen supervision of the unit's drivers and assistants; promptly correct drivers who violate speed limits, turn off the journey monitoring device, and cover the camera screen installed on the transport business vehicle.
