The State Treasury is organized from central to local levels.

The Minister of Finance has just signed Decision No. 385/QD-BTC stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the State Treasury.

The Decision of the Minister of Finance clearly states that the State Treasury is organized from central to local levels.

Specifically, the State Treasury has 10 units at the Central level, including the following Departments: Policy - Legislation; State Accounting; Treasury Management; Personnel Organization; Finance - Administration; Payment System Management; Information Technology and Digital Transformation; State Treasury Transactions and Inspection; Office.

These organizations are administrative organizations that assist the Director of the State Treasury in performing state management functions, in which the organizations (Payment Management Board; Information Technology and Digital Transformation Board; Transaction Board, State Treasury Inspectorate; Office) have legal status, their own seals and accounts according to the provisions of law.

The Payment System Management Board has 3 teams, the State Accounting Board has 4 teams, the Treasury Management Board has 4 teams, the Information Technology and Digital Transformation Board has 5 teams, the Transaction Board has 2 teams, the State Treasury Inspectorate has 4 teams and the Office has 5 teams.

Local State Treasuries are organized into 20 regions.

Specifically, State Treasury Region I, management area is Hanoi, head office in Hanoi.

State Treasury Region II , management area is Ho Chi Minh City, head office in Ho Chi Minh City.

State Treasury Region III , management area is Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, head office in Hai Phong.

State Treasury Region IV , management area is Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, head office in Hung Yen.

State Treasury Region V , management area is Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, head office in Hai Duong.

State Treasury Region VI , the management area is Bac Giang, Lang Son, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, headquartered in Bac Giang.

State Treasury Region VII , management area is Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, head office in Thai Nguyen.

State Treasury Region VIII , management areas are Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, head office in Phu Tho.

State Treasury of Region IX , management areas are Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, headquarters in Dien Bien.

Regional State Treasuries are organized with an average of no more than 10 staff and support offices and 350 Transaction Offices. Regional State Treasuries and Transaction Offices have legal status, their own seals and accounts in accordance with the provisions of law.
