Vietnam women's futsal team defeated their opponent 2-1 in extra time after the two teams drew 0-0 in 40 minutes of official play.

Nguyen Phuong Anh played the role of hero of the "Golden Star Warriors" when she left her mark with two goals against Thailand to bring complete joy to the Vietnam Futsal Team.

This victory also helped the Vietnam Futsal Team become the first team in history to win the Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship.

The 2024 Southeast Asian Women's Futsal final took place with great determination to win from both Vietnam and Thailand.

However, less than 1 minute later, Thailand's joy was extinguished when the Vietnam Futsal Team scored a goal to increase the score to 2-1.

From a corner kick, her teammates created an opportunity for Phuong Anh to shoot a shot that hit the roof of the Thai net. 2-1 was also the final result of this match and the Vietnam team became the first team to win the Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship.
